When I cleaned up my diet and ditched the processed junk, I realized I had been settling for feeling 'blah' for a long time. I thought low energy and urgent trips to the bathroom was 'normal'. Boy was I wrong!
Getting back to basics doesn't have to be complicated. As a functional nutritionist people often ask me 'What the heck should I eat?'. I get it - all of the fad diets and fitness crazes have us believing that we need a PhD just to eat! My favorite part of teaching nutrition is helping others learn to eat and cook the foods that fuel your body - it's simple and worth it!
