When I became a nutritionist, I learned a lot about nutrition. When I trained as a sober life coach, I learned a lot about the science and methodology of sobriety.
What was missing was how to get better at coaching and how to make an impact. I spent a lot of time on 'free' trainings, hacking my way through FB ads and funnels and searching for the next step.
What I didn't spend time on was developing my voice and honing my skills. I dreaded those early clients. Wasn't I supposed to be confident and excited? Instead, I was nervous about sharing my prices, worried about tactics and focused on trying to look like I had all the answers.
In my 6 years of coaching, I learned that the most important part of coaching is GETTING CLIENT RESULTS. And, that meant I had to get better at coaching, better at reaching my clients, and really good at managing my thoughts.
